Dr Peter Nichols is an ecologist, arborist and urban forestry specialist. He has experience in ecological and environmental engineering research, landscape management and arboriculture. Peter has spent his career integrating his specialist environmental skills and knowledge in the civil engineering industry, local government, and research institutes.
Peter completed his PhD in the restoration ecology of Cumberland Plain Woodland at the University of Western Sydney, and from 2013-2016 completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of the Sunshine Coast investigating synergies between water sensitive urban design, stormwater management, pavement construction and the natural environment.
